The goal of this project was to take at least 100 photos to document the summer. I found that many of my days followed almost the same patterns. At first this was a problem, the first few pictures I took reflect this heavily. However as time progressed I took a closer look at the Elements/Principles of Art. The main factors that influenced my photos were texture, light, color, and form. By focusing on these four elements/principles I was able to look at my daily life with a microscope and take photos that showed the details I often overlooked in the past.
Most of my pictures involve nature of some sort. The reasoning for this is during the school year I really have no time to just sit and do nothing. However during the summer all I have to worry about is my job, in my free time I spent most of it outside.
